We go where others don’t. In communities where only 1% have a full-time paycheck and most rely on the land to survive, adequate sanitation isn’t just a health issue—it secures the primary economic lifeline. We partner with local organizations to bring secure sanitation to the most remote corners of Vanuatu, serving those with the greatest needs.
We don’t just build and walk away. We partner with local leaders to fund and construct Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs that serve as the foundation for healthy communities. Our commitment extends far beyond the final brick; we stay engaged through long-term monitoring and maintenance to ensure these facilities thrive for generations.
Where Impact Begins Selection isn’t random. Our local partners identify project sites based on a rigorous assessment of geographical need, existing infrastructure gaps, and, most importantly, the community’s readiness to participate and lead. We go where the need is greatest and the commitment to change is strongest.
More Than Just Construction Building the “Smol Haos” is only half the work. During construction, our partners spend months on the ground establishing community buy-in. We facilitate hygiene education and train local water committees, ensuring the community has the technical and organizational skills to manage the facility from day one.
Ensuring the Dream Endures To keep the water flowing and the facilities secure, we empower local leaders with robust operations and maintenance structures. By collecting real-time data on key WASH indicators and utilizing sensor technology, we can monitor project health remotely and intervene before a minor repair becomes a major failure.
